Canadian Women Beware of Estrogen Dominance
Joanne, a busy stockbroker, has such heavy periods she is locked in her house for seven days every month. She is suffering from a common condition in Canadian women -estrogen dominance.
We are being bombarded by environmental estrogens. These are man-made chemicals that act like estrogen in the body. Estrogen-mimickers are found in everything from plastics, cosmetics, pesticides, dry cleaning chemicals, dairy products and more. Too much estrogen can upset the delicate balance of hormones in the body. Some of the most common estrogen dominant conditions that affect women are endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, cystic breasts, heavy periods, low thyroid, hormonal acne, severe menopausal symptoms, breast cancer and the list goes on. Over 20 percent of Canadians have low thyroid. Too much estrogen can block the uptake of thyroid hormone promoting low thyroid.
We need estrogen but not the toxic type of estrogen found in the environment. Women are supplied with estrogen from their ovaries, adrenal glands and fat cells. When the ovaries shut down at menopause the adrenal glands and fat cells are the main source. The liver is the key organ for processing and distributing estrogen. When our liver becomes sluggish due to poor diet and alcohol; and our adrenal glands become exhausted from too much stress our healthy estrogen production suffers. Combine that with all the environmental estrogens and women develop the conditions like Joanne.
Balance Hormones
We must avoid as many products containing environmental estrogens as possible. Detoxification of these estrogens is also important. Saunas, dry brushing, along with eating organic foods can help and adding EstroSense, the key nutrient formula for eliminating excess estrogens, encourages healthy estrogen metabolism while shrinking abnormal cell growths throughout the body. EstroSense is a gift to women. Our periods become normal, our skin stops breaking out, we ovulate properly and PMS is a thing of the past.
Joanne is relieved that after only 2 months of taking EstroSense her periods are now 4 days and normal. For more information and to receive your FREE Lorna Vanderhaeghe e-letter go to www.hormonehelp.com |
